How it works

  1. 1. Fill in one form

Company name, competencies, up to three past projects, UEI, CAGE, NAICS, PSC, set-asides, and a contact block.

  2. 2. Preview the page

The server checks the fields and shows the US Letter page. Warnings name the sections to shorten.

  3. 3. Print or save a PDF

Use the browser print dialog. No account and no file left on the server.

Questions

What is a capability statement?

It is the one-page sheet primes and contracting officers ask for: what you do, how you are different, a few past projects, your codes, and how to reach you.

Is there an official government template?

No. Agencies do not issue one required layout. This tool puts the sections buyers usually expect on a single US Letter page.

Do you verify my UEI, CAGE, or past performance?

No. CapStatement checks the shape of the codes you type and lays out the page. It does not look you up in SAM.gov and it does not vouch for the work you list. You are responsible for the content.

Will it stay on one page?

Each section has a size cap, and the preview warns you when the page is likely to overflow. Confirm in the browser print preview. Set paper to US Letter, set margins to None, and turn headers and footers off.

Is what I type stored?

The statement stays in this browser so a refresh does not wipe the form. The server does not keep a copy. The only thing we store is an email address if you join the list for saved versions and extra templates.

How do I get a PDF?

Open the preview and choose Print / Save as PDF. The browser writes the file. We do not generate a PDF on the server.

Can I remove the made-with line or add a logo?

Not in this version. The free statement includes a small made-with line. Join the list if you want to hear when saved statements, more templates, or a logo are available.
